Pre-press and plate-setting
department.
In order to improve the “time to print” leadtime,
Cartotecnica Garanzini features a fully digital imaging system,
to get the highest plates quality in the shortest time.
More, an internal graphic department is in charge to treat
artwork graphics files for the best result in plates-setting.
Printing department.
• 41 printing groups, size cm 100x140, composed by 7
and 6
colours + varnish machines,
• U.V. varnishing machine with in-line drying owen.
Die-cutting and creasing department
• 5 Automatic 100x140 die-cutting and creasing machines
with full self-stripping and separation device.
• 2 High speed cutters.
Folding-gluing, finishing and packing department
• 2 Fully robotized conveyor lines to supply logistic
support for folding and gluing lines.
• 7 Folding-gluing machines for gluing different structures.
Some are equipped for automatic boxing into carton outers.
• 2 Window-patching machines.
• 1 Metal tear edge machine for applying metal knife
to cartons for household packaging.
• 1 Automatic labels-sticker for finished boxes.
Design and manufacturing
Design hold a primary importance in the quality of the
finished product. In this stage prototypes and printing
proofs are realized according to customer’s requests.
At the purpose, to increase customer’s satisfaction
in special requests, GARANZINI is equipped
with a CAD system for designing and create sampling.
Once samples and proofs are approved, related digital data
are sent to every pre-production department (CTP Agfa-Esko
department) for the realization
of necessary manufacturing tools.
